"Go On Children" is a sketch of a man surveying the choices he made in his life and realizing the damage some of those choices made. Not only to his personal life, family, friends etc, but also on the environmental level. It is a plea to those that follow, to not go down the same road and to find their own path that doesn't repeat the mistakes of their elders. - Eric Mingus

Go On Children's music wants to represent the lament and hope of the lyrics. Blues scale and slow arpeggios are played with the tremolo sound of the arch top guitar to underline the emotions that come from Eric's voice. A minimal, timeless and naked blues where the voice and the guitar that act as a link between our deep soul and the external world - Sergio Sorrentino

This track is the first collaboration between the American vocalist, bass player and poet Eric Mingus and the Italian guitarist and composer Sergio Sorrentino. The two artists create the song by putting together their entire musical world, consisting of blues, sound experimentation, jazz, poetry, modern classical music, rock, minimalism. All these elements come together in this 21st century slow blues where Eric's voice and Sergio's guitar truly become a single musical instrument. Eric and Sergio are already working together on new pieces for other future collaborations.
